Psychic Compassion - Interview with Matt Fraser

In this column, we investigate, discuss, and study all positive, spiritual and enlightening metaphysical information, with the purpose of applying the ideas, concepts and information to our lives here in the physical. Attempting to prove the existence of the higher dimensions, the spiritual realms, is paramount to this aim. So, learning more from a person who possesses real psychic ability and a potential connection to the afterlife is indeed a worthwhile pursuit, if that person is walking the walk of unity consciousness, compassion and unconditional love. That person recently manifested into my life, and into this column as two people, in the form of Matt Fraser and his
mother Angela.
I first heard about Matt from Lorianne Nunes, who works out of the Sisters of Solace Holistic Center in Westport MA. The owners, Dora & Christine recently had Matt come to do a group format psychic messages session. They were all emphatic about not only the accuracy of Matt’s messages, but also about how he brought much comfort and re-assurance to those who attended the event. As Matt also appears regularly at Positive New Beginnings in nearby East Providence, RI, I decided to contact the owner, there,
Dottie. I received the same glowing feedback, the same enthusiasm regarding Matt’s abilities, his sincerity and his gifts. This led me to visit Matt’s web site, www.SimplyPsychic.com. When I did, I saw a picture of Matt & his mom. The vibe I got from looking at their pictures was again, positive, so upon Lorianne’s insistence, I decided to interview them. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Matt and Angela in person, while sitting with them on comfy couches at a local cafe. The hominess of the setting was appropriate, as Matt & Angela both seemed to radiate so much friendliness, sincerity and warmth, I felt like I was sitting with them in my own living room, and like they were long last family I was reconnecting with. Psychics see and read energy, and if I tune in to my own abilities, I sensed so very much genuine, sincere and kind energy emanating from them both.
Mark: Matt, when did you first discover that you were different, that you had special
abilities?
Matt: I sensed that spirits were around me, from early childhood, for as long as I can possibly remember. In fact, I saw ghosts so often in my room at night, that I slept with my mom, or in her room, until I was almost 13. I did not want to be involved with the spirit world, as it made me somewhat fearful.
Mark: What motivated you to embrace your abilities, to step into your identity as a psychic and healer?
Matt: When I was 18, I watched the show, Unsolved Mysteries, and it talked about how a lot of other people in the world had similar abilities, which they used to help others. This was the beginning of my acceptance of my gifts, as I realized I was not quite so strange after all, and that what I thought was a curse might actually be a blessing. However, I still kept pushing my gifts and abilities away, due to ridicule from my peers. Eventually, after hearing the spirits tell me “don’t be afraid of the living”, over and over again, I began to understand that this world is temporary, (as opposed to the higher eternal world), and that it was important to let people know that heaven and earth can be bridged. When I was 16 or 17, somewhat against my wishes, (my mom had politely but continually insisted that I go), I finally went to see a psychic. She told me that I not only
had the gift, but that one day, I would be very big and would have the opportunity to help a lot of people.
Mark: What do you think was the turning point in being able to master your abilities. when did the “flood gates” open up, giving you your extraordinary clear and open communication with the other side?
Matt: Actually, it really began right after that first meeting with the psychic. She told me to go home and meditate on the white light. That night, I really opened up to a much clearer level of communication. Calling in the white protective light of God and the angels allowed me to feel safe, and it allowed me to block out entities who were self serving, only allow in those with messages that were motivated by a desire to help the living, to do good here in our world.
That same night I got home from seeing the psychic and invoked the white protective light, I saw spirits, visions and got messages so much more clearly than I ever had before. Oddly, the experience was so powerful it exhausted me to the point that when I woke up the next day, I had forgotten most of the messages. Over time, with practice, I started to recall the messages more and more and then started to share the messages I received about the people around me, which then caused folks to start seeking my help
and advice.
Mark: Do you feel that most, if not all of us, are psychic as children, but then seem to lose it, forget it, or block it out?
Matt: When we are born into this world, God gives us a cell phone to call home, but the pressure to conform to the beliefs and assumptions of society takes it away. We are specifically told as children, (not so much in my case, as my mom was open minded and supportive) that we can’t possibly be psychic, and that messages from beyond are just our imagination.
Mark: My understanding of the mystique surrounding this year, 2012, is that it represents a time when we all start to experience an enlightening increase in our collective vibration, which brings more awareness of the higher worlds. That this
is the year of a momentous shift in the evolution of human consciousness, where we all start to become more psychic and spiritually aware.
Matt: Yes, absolutely, I am amazed to see how many people are actively getting in touch with their spiritual side. It’s definitely a noticeable trend. It’s almost like there are now finally enough people talking openly about spiritual experiences, as well as participating in spiritually oriented events, for other folks to start stepping up and sharing their inner spiritual life and their knowing that there really is
something more.
