Strays rescued from the streets, taken from dumpsters and abusive situations, frightened, hungry and often in need of medical attention, are brought to us and are soon restored to health, dignity, and happiness while in our care. Forever Paws also works hard to find new homes for pets that can no longer be kept by their owners. Forever Paws offers a positive solution to people finding themselves in the agonizing situation of having to surrender a pet.Forever Paws is a non-profit organization. It relies on donations, fund raisers, adoptions, and dedicated benefactors, to keep the shelter in operation, as it does not receive any state or federal funding. It is governed by a volunteer board of directors.
Forever Paws works to give the animals the gift of time. Many municipal shelters are so crowded that the can't keep lost or stray animals for more than a few days.

“They would visit me,” Fraser said. “I was afraid.”After pushing it away, Fraser said it stopped for a number of years.“Later on, in my teens, I realized I had to pursue this,” Fraser said. “I learned it was a wonderful gift.”
Both Fraser’s grandmother and mother share his talent. Fraser said he always wanted to help people (he’s also an emergency medical technician), so he decided to use his gift. To that end, Fraser advised that recognition of intuition is the first step in harnessing the ability. Beyond that, he suggested asking small questions as a way of calling upon intuition and to make note of the feeling which follows. Medium Matthew Fraser joins The Rhode Show
Many people have seen psychics in person or on television at one time or another and you've probably wondered if any of it is real. Local psychic and medium Matthew Fraser joined the Rhode Show Thursday to fill us in on what it's like living with his gift.
"I can see those who are departed, so what I usually do is I'll bring through grandparents or parents, and share with them memories that they would have on the other side," he said. "They'll talk about things that they remembered when they were here in the physical world with their loved ones, and these are messages that bring hope, and joy, and comfort to those in the physical world."
Fraser said he realized he had his gift when he was only 3 years old. He's been able to see the departed since then, and also said that psychic abilities run in his family.
"When I was a child, it was something that I was struggling with," Fraser said. "It's always tough when you see and hear things that other people don't."
